We stayed at a nice cabin with better than average amenities. Located out of the way up the Echo trail, worth the trip.
We try to go every year. John the resort operator is very helpful and very accommodating. We have had good luck catching fish, and always catch the most amazing sunsets! Our favorite place in minnesota!
Perfect place to stay after spending a week in the Boundary Waters. Comfy warm beds, TV, WiFi, hot showers, the bathroom was beautiful in the cabin we stayed in. I'm definitely coming back.
The cabins are probably the best thing about this place. Upgraded amenities compared to your average resort including free wifi and wifi calling. Large rooms available to sleep a large family in individual beds besides the master bedroom for the king and queen. I'll probably do the pontoon rental next time instead of the fishing boat. Would be easier with kids. Kids loved the swimming off the front beach. Water is shallow for about 40 yards or so. The lake is beautiful both on and viewing from your room. Would be interested in a 2 week package next time if there was a little bit of a discount for booking 2 weeks. Overall we had a great time, only 1 rainy day - but we enjoyed the dancing bear. Pretty family friendly even on an off day. :)
We had a great time here on our honeymoon. We stayed in the Juniper cabin, it Is a gorgeous log cabin with gas fireplace and is right on the water with a great lake view! We hope to come back soon, thanks John!
