Stayed here before and after our canoe trip into the Boundary Waters. Folks here are friendly, helpful, and responsible. Fridges and microwave in our rooms. Very dog friendly. Loved the optional group dining in the lodge in the morning. We were here on the 4th and they put on a complimentary picnic for all their guests. Quite nice all around.
Great place to go enjoy nature and cut the cord so you can't be pulled in by work when you should be enjoying vacation.
Truly an "end of the road experience", spent a weekend in July '16 with our 3 teenage boys and the lack of internet or cell phone service didn't phase them one bit. we all enjoyed the time up at the lodge on the large porch even when it was raining, food was wonderful and fulfilling, Ron, Julie and their staff are top notch and make sure that you have everything you need, Snowbank lake has the fish... Walleye, Bass where the catch of the day for us, The dock boy was helpful and friendly, I highly recommend this place for a quiet get away that allows a lot of good fishing!
