Great local restaurant! Family friendly, good food, and great atmosphere!
Love Gator's!! This is our second visit. We came same time last year after our trip to BWCA and this year were out in the BWCA and were hoping to make it out before closing time and were thrilled that we made it. Such good home made food, a highlight of our trip to Ely.
Fantastic sandwiches... known for their grilled cheese (obviously) but with delicious soup and sandwich options. Not to mention pie and cake.
Absolutely phenomenal! The mac n cheese had fantastic flavor! My wife had the Garden Sandwich and Tomato Basil soup and I had the Rachel Sandwich with mac n cheese. Everything tasted fresh, homemade and cooked to perfection! Our server was very kind. She brought a cup of hot water to our table after our 1 yr old son tossed his pacifier on the floor. We didn't even ask her! She just brought it. Lovely, quaint little cafe. If we hadn't driven 3 hours to get there in the first place, we would definitely go again in a heartbeat!
